Children’s education is a must if we have to move the human race forward. However, several hurdles exist that hamper this. For instance, about 1 in 5 children eligible for schooling are out of school. And while about 1 billion children worldwide go to school every day, a majority of them are unable to learn anything due to problems including horrible sanitation facilities, lack of properly trained tutors, hunger, sickness, and many others.In fact, 617 million children (estimated) are incapable of achieving minimum proficiency levels in basic skills – reading and mathematics.
